AIMSE 35th Annual Marketing & Sales Conference - April 24-24, 2012
Turnberry Isle Miami was the setting for AIMSE's annual two-day conference. Some of the standout sessions at the conference included the plan sponsor panels and the consultant roundtables. Candor was the rule of the day.

Investment Management Institute's 27th Spring Annual Consultants Congress - April 7-8, 2011
The San Francisco Hilton hosted the annual two-day Consultants Congress, which featured "one-on-one" meetings with the consultant of your choice. Managers utilized this time to introduce their firms and learn about the consultants priorities in the selection of managers. Forty-five consulting firms were represented.

27th AIMSE Annual Conference
Entitled "Looking Toward New Horizons... Developing Winning Strategies," participants at the 27th AIMSE Annual Conference tackled a number of burning issues and explored what makes an investment strategy a true winner. With ever-evolving trends, creative new ideas and advancements in technology, this conference hosted a number of enlightening sessions to address these pressing issues.

PAICR 6th Annual Conference
The Westin New York at Times Square was the location for "Springing Ahead: The Next Generation of Investment Communications," a perfect title for the 6th Annual PAICR Conference. Combining experienced industry professionals, educational workshops and groundbreaking roundtables made this conference invaluable to all attendees. The conference covered a wide array of issues ranging from RFPs to Hedge Fund Marketing.

AIMSE's 26th Annual Marketing & Sales Conference

PAICR West Coast Conference
"Moving in a New Direction for Growth - Practical Applications for Investment Industry Professionals" was the theme for PAICR's West Coast Conference. Hot topics of discussion at the conference included current industry trends in defined contribution and defined benefit markets, "Discerning Trends from Chaos" and new developments in AIMR compliance. Roundtables honed in on a variety of challenges investment communications professionals face, and a mock presentation panel offered insight into making finals presentations with feedback from the plan sponsor and consultant perspective.

AIMSE Annual Conference
The 24th Annual AIMSE conference was held May 6 - May 9, in Phoenix, AZ., and covered topics from "moving clients from acquaintances to colleagues" to "tips on surviving and winning in the New Era."

AIMSE Annual Conference
The 23rd Annual AIMSE conference was held April 30 - May 3, in Orlando, FL. With the industry evolving, competition toughening, and technology expanding, common themes throughout the conference focused on the use of technology and importance of superior client service.

IMI Consultant Congress
The annual IMI Consultants Congress was held April 4 - 5, in San Francisco, covering topics from "Marketing Down the Information Superhighway " to "Building Consultant Relationships that Win New Business." Fourteen sessions were held with two-to-three consultants participating on each panel. In total, 37 consultants attended the conference. Attendees of the conference ranged from institutional and private investment managers to client service and marketing professionals; 96 attendees in all.

PAICR Midwest Conference
The historic Chicago Club served as the backdrop for PAICR's September Midwest Conference. The evening reception was a fabulous mix of new and familiar faces mingling in a refined, friendly atmosphere. Great food and lively conversation set the stage for the next day and a half of education, meeting our peers and fun.

PAICR Newport Conference Wrap Up
The 2000 West Coast Conference "Enhancing Client Service & Marketing through Technology," took place against the unseasonably sultry but no less scenic backdrop of the Hyatt Newporter in Newport Beach, CA. The participants' arrival created an ostensible energy and enthusiasm in eager anticipation of a wonderfully rewarding and educational PAICR event.

IMI Consultants Congress
The annual IMI Consultants Congress was held April 20 - 21, in San Francisco, covering topics from "Getting Into Tomorrow's Searches" to "Differentiating Your Firm in a Competitive Market." Fourteen sessions were held with two-to-three consultants participating on each panel. In total, 34 consultants attended the conference. Attendees of the conference ranged from institutional and private investment managers to client service and marketing professionals; 108 attendees in all.
